The death of Amin al-Hindi, founder of the Palestinian intelligence service

Palestinian ambassador in Jordan on Wednesday the death of General Amin al-Hindi, founder of the Palestinian intelligence service, which is believed to be linked to the process of Munich in 1972, in Amman after a long illness for seventy years.

He said Atallah Khairy told AFP that the Indian "died Tuesday night in Amman after a long battle with cancer."

The Indian who is the founder of the Palestinian intelligence service to the Authority in 1994, one suspected of links with the Munich carried out by commandos of the Organization of Black September, which killed 18 people, including 11 Israeli athletes at the fifth of September 1972.

The same source said that "India has been receiving treatment at King Hussein Medical City (west of Amman) in about six months after suffering with cancer and received chemotherapy and eradicated a large part of his liver before it enters into a coma."

Indian's body was taken Wednesday morning to Ramallah, where the funeral will be attended by Palestinian Authority officials, including President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.

And will be subsequently moved to Gaza, where the body will be buried.
